Introduction: Given the positive impact of education on knowledge, vision and human performance will play a crucial role in the medical system. This paper is a review of medical education in both traditional and modern developments, strengths and weaknesses are described. Methods: With reference to the research of several scholars and historians, as well as a review of recent research done on medical education and Classification and outline of developments in medical education is presented. Results: With regard to teaching practices in medical education so long without changing is sadly not been upgraded and has retained its traditional form. Therefore, for the further development of the education system, we need to improve quality management and continuous monitoring. Conclusion: To improve the quality of medical education in the curriculum to suit the needs and capabilities of existing manpower and resources. Medical education objectives must be clearly defined until the entire education system should be based on pre-determined goals.
