یادگیری مبتنی بر حل مسئله بر مبنای استراتژیهای آموزشی دانشجومحور، شکل گرفته است که شامل طیف وسیعی از روشهای آموزشی است که یادگیری را حول یک مسئله پیش میبرد. در این روش، از مسائل آموزشی دقیق به عنوان محور آموزش استفاده میشود و تعیین نیازهای یادگیری، جستجوی دانش، ادغام یافتهها با عنایت به دانستههای قبلی، توسط دانشجویان انجام میشود و منجر به یادگیری مهارتهای مختلف از جمله مهارت حل مسئله و مهارت قضاوت و استدلال بالینی میشود. اما با این وجود اکثر اساتید یا با این روش آشنا نیستند یا آن را صرفا ارائه مسئله به دانشجویان میدانند. در این نوشتار تلاش خواهد شد که ابعاد و زوایای پنهان این روش آموزشی آشکار گردند.
