The Journal of Medical Education and Development

The use of artificial intelligence to review journal articles is possible provided that the following points are observed:
1- The type and extent of use must be mentioned in the review response.
2- Artificial intelligence should be used as an auxiliary tool in the review, not as a producer of the final report.
3- The use of artificial intelligence to check references and their accuracy is among the things approved by the journal.
4- Ultimately, the responsibility for the accuracy of the review report lies with the reviewer.
5- Due to the possibility of plagiarism in articles, reviewers do not have the right to send the entire text of the article to any of the artificial intelligence tools, otherwise they will be responsible for any plagiarism.
