The Journal of Medical Education and Development

The journal provides free access to its electronic archive. If JMED decides to cease its activities as a publisher, it will make the electronic copies available to users for long-term preservation by the next publisher or university. For long-term preservation, JMED will review available technologies at appropriate intervals and undertake digital transfer of content and related information. The original content information will be in current standard format with appropriate storage formats for shapes, page images and other forms. JMED is responsible for the long-term preservation of journal articles and other materials stored in the archive. JMED disclaims any responsibility for the long-term preservation, reproduction, or reproduction of any electronic information released from the archive to the consumer. JMED has no responsibility for the preservation of electronic collections of page images and the preservation of electronic prints distributed to authors.
