title = {Identifying the Opinions of Students, Professors and Educational Managers Regarding the Factors Affecting the Improvement of the Quality of Education in Hamadan University of Medical Sciences},
abstract ={Introduction: Considering the importance of the quality of education in universities on the growth and development programs of the country, this study aimed to explain the opinions of students, professors, and educational managers regarding the factors affecting improving education quality at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences. Method: This qualitative study used conventional content analysis to understand the experiences of students, professors, and managers at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences. Participants were selected through purposeful sampling with diversity in considering faculty, educational group, level, age, and gender. The interviews in person included in-depth interviews with 20 students, 8 professors, and 3 educational managers. The responses were analyzed using the Graneheim and Lundman model. Results: The factors affecting the improvement of education quality from the students’ perspective were determined in four main contexts: the professor’s teaching method in class, modern teaching techniques, appropriate interactions between professor and student, and the availability of educational infrastructures. The effective factors from the educational managers’ perspective were identified in two prominent contexts: the professor’s teaching in class and appropriate interactions between professor and student. The effective factors from the professors’ perspective were identified in four main contexts: professors’ motivation, empowering professors, professors’ and students’ characteristics. Conclusion: Improving the quality of education depends on appropriate interactions between professors and students, professors’ teaching methods, modern teaching techniques, and educational infrastructures. Also, the motivation and empowerment of professors and the characteristics of professors and students play a significant role in this field. Therefore, to improve the quality of education, educational managers must pay attention to these factors. },

title = {Comparing the Status of Motivation Self-Regulation Strategies in Medical Students Before and After the Beginning of Clinical Education},
abstract ={Introduction: Self-regulation motivation in medical students in clinical education is a key factor in their academic success. This study aims to compare the status of self-regulation motivation strategies in medical students before and after the beginning of clinical education at Kerman University of Medical Sciences in 2022. Method: This semi-experimental single-group study used the Meta-Motivational Strategies in Medical Students Questionnaire for 80 medical students who were clerkships. Results: The mean of self-regulation motivation strategies in medical students before entering the clinical education phase was 113.43, and at the end of the first semester of clinical education was 116.20. The results showed an increase in the status of self-regulation motivation strategies by medical students in the clinical education phase. The most self-regulation motivation strategy used by students before and after the start of clinical education was "Regulation of value". Conclusion: Medical students use different strategies to regulate their motivation during clinical education. To maintain and increase the motivation of medical students, it is crucial to identify and strengthen self-regulation motivation strategies. },

title = {Evaluation of the Attitude of Medical Students of Ahvaz Jundishapur University toward Professionalism in the Year 2021 During the Covid-19 Crisis},
abstract ={Introduction: Professionalism is a crucial aspect of the medical profession, encompassing the commitment to perform professional responsibilities and a correct understanding of the ethical and legal aspects of the profession. The attitude towards professionalism is the basis of the formation of behaviors in the field of medicine. The purpose of this study is to determine the attitude of medical students toward professionalism during the COVID-19 crisis. Method: This study is a descriptive and analytical study conducted on 100 medical interns of Jundishapur University of Ahvaz during the Corona crisis. The data collection tool was the Penn State questionnaire on professionalism. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods, Binomial non-parametric multiple regression, and Chi-square test. A significance level of less than 0.05 is considered. Results: The results showed that 70% of the students had a positive and high attitude towards professionalism. The most crucial aspect of professionalism is the dimension of respect, which has the highest frequency at 89%. Multiple regression analysis by step-by-step method showed that gender and marriage variables are not significant and only age is significant. So professionalism decreases by .03 units with an increase in age. Conclusion: The high level of professionalism in medical interns is a positive finding of this study. However, the direct relationship between age and professionalism is a concerning issue. Therefore, it is recommended that studies should be conducted to reduce the factors affecting professionalism during education. },

title = {The Relationship between Resilience, locus of Control, and General Health with the Academic Performance among Students of Yazd University of Medical Sciences},
abstract ={Introduction: Improving students' academic performance is related to various factors. Identifying and modifying these factors can improve academic performance. The study investigated the relationship between resilience, locus of control, and general health with students' academic performance. Method: The study is a cross-sectional descriptive-analytical study consisting of 415 students. Resilience, source of control, and public health were investigated by using standard questionnaires, and the correlation of these scores with the academic performance of the students was evaluated. Results: A comparison of the average scores of resilience, locus of control, and general health with the student's academic status showed that those who had a GPA higher than 16.92 had a higher score of resilience, locus of control, and general health, but it was not reported significant. In comparing the internal and external control dimensions of the source of control, it was shown that people with an external source have a significantly higher grade point average. Also, there is a relationship between the variables of resilience, source of control, and general health with academic performance, and between the variables of source of control and resilience with academic performance. Significant was reported. Conclusion: It is recommended to organize practical education areas and workshops to enhance resilience, general health, and life skills based on the findings of the academic progress study. },

title = {A comparative Study of the Fifth Generation University in Iran\'s Higher Education (case study: Iran and Selected Countries)},
abstract ={Introduction: This study aimed to study the comparison of fifth generation universities in higher education in Iran and selected countries in a qualitative and comparative way. Method: In this research, the Kandel method was used to identify the components of the fifth generation university, and the Boley method was used to analyze the data to extract common and non-common components. The data collection method was web-based and purposive sampling. By checking the keywords in the databases, the articles that were published in both English and Farsi in the field of the components of the fifth generation university until September 21, 2022 were selected and carefully studied and analyzed Results: With thematic analysis of 23 components of the fifth spiral model to¬ as the base model of the fifth generation university.5 Components that were abundant between one and 3 countries were removed and the effective components that were abundant in more than 5 countries remained. After the merger of the component, which was of a single nature, 3 similar components (sensitive to the environment) were. The developer of environmental sustainability and the use of fashion 3 for the production of knowledge and innovation and 15 components between selected countries and Iran were extracted as differential components. Conclusion: Finally, according to the results of this research, in order to reach the fifth generation university, the need to design and present appropriate strategies by managers and decision makers، To reduce the distance of differential universities with the leading universities in this field. },
