JMED permits the use of AI tools for tasks such as language editing or translation of article drafts. However, the core content of the manuscript—including the introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions—must be written by the authors themselves. The use of AI for data analysis is acceptable only under the supervision and approval of a qualified statistical consultant.
